Pre-Conference:  Tackling Data Training

Please join us in Des Moines on Tuesday, October 2nd for a Tackling Data training!

*Training provided with a focus on Environmental Health Data*

As public health professionals, you are expected to use, understand, and explain data everyday; however, most of the public health work force does not have the training to best explain, compare, describe, and illustrate quantitative data while ensuring data integrity.

Tackling Data will be held from 8:30am until 3:45pm at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center in Des Moines. More information on this training can be found

Register for this training at:

Conveniently, this training occurs the day before the Iowa Environmental Health Association 2018 Fall Conference!

This training is provided free by the Iowa Department of Public Health through the Iowa Institute of Public Health Research and Policy and the University of Iowa College of Public Health.
