Jackson County Public Health Administrator/Environmental Health Specialist 

Job Opening

The Jackson County Board of Health is accepting applications for the position of Public Health Administrator/ Environmental Health Specialist to work full-time, 40 hours minimum per week.

Under the general direction of the Board of Health, the Public Health Administrator/ Environmental Health Specialist will be responsible for Jackson County environmental health programs and administrative details.

Minimum qualifications include having a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of thirty hours in science and two years of related employment. A master’s degree in public health and three years experience in public health is preferred.
