Please join IPHA on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 for the IPHA Legislative Forum to be held at the Iowa Laboratories Facility on the DMACC campus in Ankeny, Iowa.  Registration is requested and is now open!

The forum will present priority public health issues and will feature a presentation on the Iowa Health Insurance Marketplace in addition to panel presentations from Iowa legislators and agency directors.

Featured agenda item: Open Forum for Sharing Cross-Cutting Priorities and Identifying Partners - this 'open mic' time will allow partner organizations to share their respective legislative priorities which have a public health connection. 

With this forum, IPHA creates a venue for our members and partners to listen and engage with each other and policy makers on important public health issues that are likely to see action during the 2014 Iowa legislative session.

Also, IPHA members are requested to personally invite their legislators to attend this forum to meet public health professionals and learn about issues affecting their constituents.  If your legislator is able to attend, please contact Jeneane Moody directly at iowapha@gmail.com.
