NEHA 2021 AEC TRANSITIONS TO
A THREE-PART VIRTUAL SERIES

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) has continued to closely monitor developments of the COVID-19 pandemic since its inception earlier this year. After careful deliberation, the NEHA Board of Directors has made the difficult but necessary decision to transition the face-to-face 2021 Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition scheduled for July 12–15, 2021, in Spokane, Washington, to a three-part virtual series.
 
Developing details regarding the NEHA 2021 AEC Three-Part Virtual Series will be posted on the 2021 AEC website as they become available.

“As the health and safety of our members, presenters, exhibitors, attendees, partners, and staff is our highest priority, the NEHA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to transition the 2021 AEC & Exhibition to a three-part virtual series. While I am disappointed we won’t have the opportunity to see our friends and colleagues in person, I feel certain NEHA has made the right decision. I have full confidence that the NEHA leadership and staff will develop this three-part virtual series to be as valuable, educational, and interactive as past AECs. I look forward to participating in this new learning and conference format,” stated Sandra Long, NEHA president.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS TO
REOPEN ON NOVEMBER 16

To accommodate the 2021 AEC transition to a three-part virtual series, the Call for Abstracts will reopen on November 16 and close on December 7. If you have already submitted an abstract for the 2021 AEC, you do not need to resubmit.

To submit your abstract online starting on November 16, please view our abstract submission guidelines.

Abstract submission deadline is Monday, December 7.
