October 9, 2024 Effectively Communicating Environmental Public Health
Anna Khan, MA, REHS, RS, MT Commander, US Public Health Service CDR Anna Khan is President of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) board and the Director for Communication in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice. She is responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and managing communication activities. Her work supports global emergency management capacity development across the world. She has worked with 39 countries on environmental health activities including food, water, and emergency preparedness and response priorities. This involves partnerships with the international ministries of health, Department of Defense, and the World Health Organization (WHO). | October 10, 2024
Celina Peerman, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP Organizational Psychologist Dr. Celina Peerman currently serves as an organizational psychologist with over 27 years of human resources and organizational development experience from front line to senior level positions, in a wide range of industries and organizations. She is passionate about engaging people in new ways to achieve even better organizational results. Celina is a strategist with a sense of humor and a love for building capacity in organizations. Celina holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, a master’s degree in business, with undergraduate degrees in psychology and international studies. Her content is aimed at helping teams maximize potential for an even more positive impact on those around them. |
