This class is a continuation of Chapter 69 from Part 1 and will cover the last half of the septic code beyond soil absorption systems. Discussion will cover media filters including sand filters, other packaged media filters, and aerobic treatment units. Also, included will be maintenance and discharge sampling requirements. This is a great class for anyone new to the industry or if you just need a refresher. Section 101 is for County Environmental Health, Public Health, Boards of Health & Boards of Supervisors, & DNR. This course is funded by a grant for technical assistance training from the EPA for County Sanitarians, Iowa DNR, Boards of Health, and Boards of Supervisors.
